The Wall Around Owl Wood Manse / El muro que rodea la mansión de la arboleda de los búhos

Alpin and Arley have found a fine wall to do some graffiti on. It encircles the ruins of old, abandoned Owl Wood Manse, located, according to some, just outside Minced Forest but indisputably within it, according to others.

Alpin y Arley han encontrado una buena pared en la que hacer grafiti. Rodea las ruinas de la vieja y abandonada mansión de la arboleda de los búhos, sita, según algunos, justo en las afueras del Bosque Triturado, pero indiscutiblemente en el interior del bosque, según otros.

What do you think? Is this graffito as good as my others?

I like it. But couldn´t we do something aside from your logo for a change? We always do the same word over and over.

Me gusta. ¿Pero no podríamos hacer algo que no sea tu logo para variar?  Siempre pintamos la misma palabra vez tras vez.

No. We´ll cover the whole wall with my logo. Your sister gave me the magic pencil so I get to decide what gets done. And that will always be my logo, so everyone will know the work is mine.

No. Cubriremos la pared entera con mi logo. Tu hermana me dio el lápiz mágico, así que yo soy el que decide que se va a hacer. Y eso siempre será mi logo, para que todos sepan que el trabajo es mío.

My sister lent you the pencil. She didn´t give it to you. She can´t do that. The busker that gave it to her when he left her near the mortal school said he would return for her one day and he might want it back. After all, it is a magic treasure. And… are you sure you want everyone to know you are doing graffiti? If you were mortal, the police would have arrested you by now.

Mi hermana te ha prestado el lápiz. No te lo ha regalado. No puede. El músico ambulante que se lo dio cuando la dejó cerca del colegio de los mortales dijo que volvería a por ella algún día y puede que quiera reclamar el lápiz. Después de todo, es un tesoro mágico. Oye, ¿estás seguro de que quieres que todo el mundo sepa que tú has estado haciendo grafiti? Si fueses mortal, la policía humana ya te habría detenido.

Hello, children. Brightening up Mr. Binky´s dull wall, eh? That´s pretty. I hope we can get to keep it.

This wall is Mr. Binky´s? We thought it didn´t belong to anybody. He doesn´t live here, does he?

¿Esta pared es del Sr. Binky? Creíamos que no era de nadie. Él no vive aquí, ¿verdad?

Minafer Ominous / Minafer el Ominoso

Mr. Binky has expropriated this house in ruins and its gardens to build his new school here.

El Sr. Binky ha expropiado esta casa medio derruida y todo su terreno para construir su nueva escuela aquí.

Has he paid a fortune for this junk? My nephew gave him a lot of dough. I´d like to know what he’s doing with it.

¿Ha pagado un dineral por esta basura? Mi sobrino le dio un montón de pasta. Me gustaría saber que está haciendo con ella.

Minafer Ominous / Minafer el Ominoso

They say he hasn`t paid a cent. He has expropriated this place, but since nobody knows who the owner is, he hasn’t had to indemnify.

Dicen que no le ha costado un céntimo. Ha expropiado este lugar, pero como no se sabe quién es el dueño, pues no le ha tenido que indemnizar.

That’s much worse than I thought. He must be keeping the money for himself if he doesn’t need to spend it. Speaking of dull walls, this is being a rather dull summer. I´m tired of doing nothing but graffiti. You think you know everything, Ominous. Have you any idea what we could to do liven things up?

Eso es mucho peor de lo que yo pensaba. Debe estar quedándose con el dinero si no necesita gastarlo. Ahora que hablamos de paredes aburridas, éste está siendo un verano algo rollo. Estoy harto de no hacer nada más que grafiti. Ominoso, tú que te crees que lo sabes todo, ¿tienes alguna idea sobre lo que podríamos hacer para darle algo más de vida al veranito?

Well, you´ve a magic treasure there, I see. That pencil can paint and draw almost anything you are capable of imagining. There are only five like it in fairyland. You could either use it to do something very different, like really cool graffiti in a truly stunning place. Or you could try to find the other four if this one isn´t enough for you. They say that whoever has all five could cover the whole sky with graffiti in less than a night. Imagine the effect the next morning. Something tells me there are magic treasures in the air here. I would check this place out for them. Follow the white brick wall, kids.  

Bueno, tenéis un tesoro mágico ahí, según veo. Ese lápiz es bastante especial. Dibuja y pinta casi cualquier cosa que uno es capaz de imaginar. Sólo hay cinco como ese en el mundo de las hadas. Podríais utilizarlo para hacer algo deslumbrante en un lugar mucho más lucido. O podríais buscar los demás y coleccionarlos si no os basta con éste. Dicen que quién tenga todos podría hacer un dibujo que cubriría todo el cielo en una sola noche. Imaginad el efecto a la mañana siguiente. Algo me dice que hay tesoros mágicos en el aire por aquí. Yo echaría un vistazo por este lugar. Seguid la blanca pared de ladrillo, nenes.

There you go speaking like an oracle again, Ominous. You really have to do something about your style. It´s very annoying.
