Class Cabinet / El armario del aula

Elisa of 4B describes the cabinet in our English classroom in this composition.

The cabinet in the English classroom is vanilla coloured and is bordered by a green band. These two colours match with those of the classroom because its walls are bright yellow and the chairs and the desks are green. It is made of several materials such as wood and plastic. It is rectangular and its shape reminds me of a box of matches. It is not very tall, so you can accede to it easily and it does not occupy too much space. It is very symmetrical because it has two doors of the same size with two handles of a silver coloured metal. It has a lock of the same material as the handles so it can only be opened by the teacher who has the key. It is not a luxury cabinet, but it serves to keep many things because it has several shelves and since it is made of opaque materials you can´t see what is inside. Also, on top you can leave things without their falling off because the wings are higher than those of most cabinet tops. In conclusion it is a cabinet that fulfuills its function very well: not to decorate, but to store.
