The Day Before Yesterday and Rainbows / Antes de ayer y los arcos iris

The day before yesterday - April 3rd - was "Find a Rainbow Day." With all those people out there looking for rainbows I had to keep shifting my pot of gold from one place to another so no opportunists could steal it.

Antes de ayer - el tres de Abril- fue el "Día de la Búsqueda del Arco Iris." Con toda esa gente rondando por ahí buscando arcos iris tuve que estar moviendo mi olla de oro continuamente de un lado para otro para evitar que algún oportunista la robase.

Rainbows are meant to cheer us up. Do you know the rainbow song your Uncle Fergus taught me, Alpin? You´ll have to hear Petula Clark sing it because I´ve spent the whole night coughing.

Los arcos iris sirven para animarnos. ¿Conoces la cancíón del arco iris que me enseñó tu tío Fergus, Alpin? Tendrás que escuchar a Petula Clark cantarla porque yo me he pasado la noche tosiendo.

No. I have an allergy. And the lady who owns the car I live in put one of those flower-shaped perfumed things that humans use to make small, closed spaces smell good in the car.

No. Es porque tengo una alergia y la dueña del coche en el que vivo puso una de esas cosas perfumadas y con forma de flor que utilizan los humanos para que los lugares pequeños y cerrados huelan bien.

No. She likes me. She put it there because she thought it would make my habitat cosier.

No. Le caigo bien. Lo puso allí porque pensó que haría que mi hábitat fuese más acogedor.
