We used to eat snails and slugs and stuff like that. But Glorvina taught us to eat pollen and nectar and now we have a sweet tooth.
Solíamos comer caracoles y babosas y cosas así. Pero Glorvina nos enseñó a comer polen y néctar y ahora somos golosas.

Glorvina did that? I thought she was an ecologist. I thought she would want animals to eat what they always have.

But she´s also vegetarian, and she´s convincing us to change our uncivilized ways. Now that the IRA isn´t active, she isn´t as busy as she used to be. She´s really happy about that, and she should have gone on a vacation to the Bahamas, but you know what banshees are like. They need something to worry about. Well, some of us were always vegetarian anyway. Will you give us the coin?
Pero tambien es vegetariana y nos está convenciendo para que cambiemos nuestras costumbres poco civilizadas. Ahora que el IRA no está en activo, ella está tan ocupada como de costumbre. Está realmente contenta por eso y debería haberse ido de vacaciones a las Bahamas, pero ya sabes como son las banshees. Necesitan preocuparse por algo. No. I have it right here underneath the patch. And I can see perfectly well with it. But I had an accident while I was out gathering asparagus one night, long ago. I got used to wearing the patch and now I can´t do without it. What are you doing out here?
No. Lo tengo aquí, debajo del parche. Y puedo ver perfectamente con él. Pero tuve un accidente mientras estaba buscando espárragos una noche, hace muchos tiempo. Me acostumbré a usar el parche y ahora no me hallo sin él. ¿Qué estáis haciendo aquí fuera?

Let me see it. Hmmm. There´s a fellow who wanders about this field that has two coins exactly like it. I thought he was searching for his boots. Somebody cut them off with his legs still inside.
Dejame ver. Hum. Hay un tipo que vaga por este campo que tiene dos monedas exactamente iguales a ésta. Pensé que estaba buscando sus botas. Alguien se las cortó con las piernas aún dentro.

He´s not too upset about it. Actually, he says he can move about a lot faster swimming in the air now that he´s a ghost.
No le importa demasiado. De hecho, dice que se puede mover más rápidamente nadando en el aire, ahora que es un fantasma.

I know his name is Nuño Paez. He´s a knight of the Order of Calatrava. You can tell, because he wears a white cloak with the red cross that is distinctive of that order. He keeps two coins just like the one you found inside what is left of his belly. He´s quite transparent in that section. I can´t tell you where to find him, but I´ve often seen him wandering about this field.
Sé que su nombre es Nuño Páez. Es un caballero de la orden de Calatrava. Se nota porque lleva una capa blanca con la cruz que es el distintivo de esa orden. Guarda dos monedas exactamente iguales a la que habéis encontrado dentro de lo que queda de su barriga. Es bastante transparente en esa sección. No puedo deciros dónde encontrarle, pero le he visto a menudo vagando por este campo.

That´s right. Many things have happened here. One of them was a huge battle between Christians and Muslims. Isn´t it a shame how people are always being made to kill each other?The ghosts of many people who participated in it still wander here. Ask about. Someone is bound to know where you can find him. And most are friendly now that they are dead. Come to think of it, they were when they were alive too.
Así es. Muchas cosas han ocurrido aquí. Una fue una enorme batalla entre cristianos y musulmanes. ¿No es una vergüenza cómo hacen que la gente siempre se esté matando? Los fantasmas de mucha gente que participó en esa batalla aún vagan por aquí. Preguntad por ahí. Alguien debe saber dónde se encuentra. Y la mayoría de la gente es amable ahora que está muerta. Pensándolo bien, también lo eran cuando estaban vivos.
